Hungary reopens 30% film production incentive after new government reaffirms support
Hungary's new government under Péter Magyar has reaffirmed its commitment to the film industry and reopened applications for the country's 30% production incentive. Hungary is Europe's second-largest production hub, having hosted major Hollywood films including "F1: The Movie," the "Dune" films, "The Brutalist" and "Poor Things," as well as series like "The Day of the Jackal." The incentive programme had previously been paused for new registrations.
