Palworld Cryogenic Coolant is required to make some of the most powerful cold -resistant items in the game. I'd have thought a coolant would have been required for heat-resistant gear, but clearly I'm wrong.
If you're after some of the best armor to take to Mount Obsidian or Feybreak Island, then, you might be hunting high and low for this Cryogenic Coolant. Unfortunately, looking for it to drop around the Palworld environment is going to leave you wanting, as this item can only be crafted at your base.
How to get Palworld Cryogenic Coolant
(Image credit: Pocketpair) The recipe for Palworld Cryogenic Coolant can be unlocked in the Technology Tree at level 31, and it can only be crafted at a Production Assembly Line.
While it looks relatively simply to make - you only need Pal Fluids and Ice Organs to make it, both of which are easy to get by farming ice and water-type Pals like Kingpen - this mid-level item can't simply be crafted at a normal workbench. You instead need a Production Assembly Line.
This is unlocked at Level 29 and requires some hefty resources to build: 100x Ingots, 10x Cement, 5x Wooden Board, and 20x Nails. Let's hope your Base Pals have been hard at work.
(Image credit: Pocketpair) With the Production Assembly Line in place and a few Ice Organs and Pal Fluids in your chests, you can now make Cryogenic Coolant. You'll need it to craft any of the following items:
Ghangler Saddle (Level 31)
Water Grenade (Level 33)
Quivern Saddle (Level 36)
Jormuntide Saddle (level 39)
Cold-Resistant Refined Metal Armor (Level 41)
Whalaska Saddle (Level 42)
Quivern Botan Saddle (Level 45)
Cold-Resistant Pal Metal Armor (Level 50)
Cold-Resistant Plasteel Armor (Level 54)
Plasma Multicutter (Level 54)
Powerful Fishing Magnet (Level 61)
Cold-Resistant Hexolite Armor (Level 64)
Overheat Rifle (Level 64)
Combat SMG (Level 68)
Cold-Resistant Ancient Armor (Level 77)
Now you've got an assembly line going, put those Pals to work. To make some of the items on this list, you'll also need to find Palworld Hexolite Quartz , and you'll need some Ancient Civilization Parts , too.
