Saronic Technologies opens Texas shipyard to build naval drones used in Iran war

Saronic Technologies, maker of naval drone boats, will open a new shipyard in Texas to produce both military and commercial vessels. The company gained attention last month when one of its naval drones helped rescue the crew of a downed Apache helicopter during the Iran conflict. The new facility is intended to expand production capacity amid growing demand for autonomous naval vessels.
