Highway Executive Sentenced to 12 Years for Genoa's Morandi Bridge Collapse
Giovanni Castellucci, the former head of the company that managed the Morandi Bridge in Genoa, has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. The bridge collapsed in August 2018, killing 43 people. Castellucci oversaw the firm responsible for maintaining the bridge at the time of the disaster.
