New York Times moves to quash DOJ subpoenas targeting its reporters

The New York Times has filed a motion to quash Department of Justice subpoenas targeting a group of its journalists, including Julian E. Barnes and Eric Lipton. The reporters had written about the lack of security features on the new Air Force One, a gift from the Qatari government accepted by President Donald Trump. The Trump administration launched the legal action following publication of the stories.
