CDC Investigates 7,000 Cases of Diarrhea-Causing Parasite

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating over 7,000 cases of a parasite causing severe diarrhea. The number of suspected cases jumped from 1,500 to 5,100 in a single week. Officials have not yet identified the source of the outbreak.
