Polish Foreign Ministry to audit grant scheme after suspected deception reports

Poland's Foreign Ministry will carry out a detailed audit of its grant-awarding process for the "Polonia i Polacy za Granicą 2026" competition following media reports of suspected deception of officials. Spokesman Maciej Wewiór confirmed that payments to the entity in question have been immediately suspended pending the investigation.
