Sony Ends Physical PlayStation Disc Sales — Customers Furious Over Digital-Only Future
Sony is completely ending the sale of PlayStation games on physical discs, and the publisher of GTA VI will include only a digital download code card in the box instead of a disc. Customers have reacted with outrage, and legal adviser Tomasz Gawliczek notes that digital purchases are in effect only a licence, not ownership of the game.
