Parliamentary committee postpones immunity case of MP Król — Kövesi wants to attend

The Sejm's rules committee did not consider the request on 16 July to lift the immunity, detain and temporarily arrest KO MP Wojciech Król. The session was not held as planned because European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövesi wished to attend but was unable to be present that day. According to Gazeta Wyborcza, the committee holds three new legal opinions on the matter and the application may be referred back to the Speaker of the Sejm.
