Researchers working on 3D-printing personalised contact lenses at home

Researchers are working on technology that could allow personalised contact lenses to be 3D-printed to match an individual's eye anatomy. This could solve the problem faced by people whose non-standard corneas make standard lenses unwearable. The technology is still at the research stage and is not yet commercially available.
