Prof. Ćwiąkalski: Żak's harsh sentence will deter only some drivers

Prof. Zbigniew Ćwiąkalski, a former Polish justice minister and lawyer, says the conviction of Łukasz Żak for causing a fatal crash on Warsaw's Trasa Łazienkowska is a useful deterrent but will not stop all reckless drivers. He argues that some motorists will always disregard traffic laws regardless of the severity of sentences.
