Polish jets intercept Russian Su-30s and Il-20 reconnaissance plane over Baltic

A Polish air force quick-reaction alert pair intercepted two Russian Su-30 fighter jets over the Baltic Sea, and subsequently a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft. Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz confirmed the incidents on Thursday. The events are seen as another Russian test of Polish air-defence capabilities.
