Meta AI to alert parents when teens discuss self-harm on Instagram or Facebook

Meta has announced that parents who opt into its family supervision tools will receive alerts whenever their teenager discusses suicide or self-harm with Meta AI on Instagram, Facebook or Meta Horizons. The feature requires parents to set up supervised family accounts before alerts can be activated. The move is aimed at improving teen safety on Meta's platforms.
