Anduril's 'Fury' drone fires AIM-120 missile in first live weapons test

US defence company Anduril has released footage of the first live weapons firing by its "Fury" combat drone, which successfully launched an AIM-120 air-to-air missile. The unmanned aircraft is being developed to act as an aerial escort and protector for US fighter jets. The test marks a significant milestone in the development of autonomous combat platforms for the US Air Force.
