Japanese game studios ditch ChatGPT for alternative AI models

According to a report by Japan's JOGA gaming association, all surveyed Japanese game developers use at least one AI model in their work, but many are shifting away from ChatGPT towards alternative tools. The trend towards cheaper or more specialised AI models is particularly pronounced in Japan's game industry. AI tools have effectively become standard in Japanese studios.
