Japan beat Canada 3-2 in VNL thriller after losing first two sets

Japan, leaders of the Volleyball Nations League, nearly suffered their first defeat of the season in Osaka, dropping the opening two sets against Canada. Coach Laurent Tillie's substitutes helped turn the match around, securing a 3-2 victory. Canada remain at risk of relegation from next season's VNL.
