Łukasz Żak sentenced to 20 years for deadly speeding on Warsaw's Łazienkowska route

A Warsaw court sentenced Łukasz Żak to 20 years in prison for causing a deadly crash on the Łazienkowska expressway. He was driving at 226 km/h in an 80 km/h zone, killing a 37-year-old man and injuring his wife and two children. Judge Maciej Mitera said the traffic violations were deliberate and that Żak showed no remorse throughout the trial.
