Tolkien's The Hobbit officially returns this August as part of a new crossover with The Lord of the Rings. Despite laying the foundations for all of Middle-earth, The Hobbit rarely receives the spotlight compared to its sequel. The new project aims to change that by putting Tolkien's original novel front and centre.
