Over 800 wildfires burn in Canada as hazardous air quality spreads to US

More than 800 wildfires are simultaneously burning across Canada, sending smoke south and triggering air quality alerts in the United States. Authorities have classified the air in large parts of Michigan, Minneapolis and Minnesota as "hazardous." Residents on both sides of the border face serious health risks from the smoke.
