The Jensen Interceptor GTX is inching closer to its big debut.

Company announced a mysterious track-only special.

Model will feature an aluminum body and a supercharged V8.

The Jensen Interceptor GTX is scheduled to make its global debut in the second quarter of 2026, which implies it will be unveiled by the end of September. That’s right around the corner, so the company has announced the car is a “pre-production, ultra high-performance, track-only special” that previews future road-going variants.

Details are as hazy as a Canadian wildfire, but the company billed the mysterious model as an “enhanced prototype build.” The firm went on to say it lays the foundation for “several future Interceptor variants, including road-going models and track-focused cars.”

The wording is puzzling as they’re effectively referring to it as a pre-production prototype, which suggests the model is simply a track-only development car. However, some publications are implying it will be sold to consumers.

Jensen International Managing Director David Duerden didn’t shed much light on the matter as he stated, “The Interceptor GTX is no static show car. It is a track-focused special, developed as an enhanced prototype build, which will preview upcoming Jensen models . We can’t wait to unveil it to the world, fittingly sixty years after the launch of the original Jensen Interceptor.”

We reached out for clarification and were told the “GTX is a track-only development car, used for testing, paving the way for customer cars (both track and road versions).” This means it’s a prototype and not something you’ll be able to buy – at least not yet.

While a number of questions remain, the company noted the Interceptor GTX is “not a restomod nor a continuation of any previous Jensen model.” Instead, it’s new from the ground up and features a contemporary aluminum body that was built by hand. It’s joined by an aluminum chassis and a supercharged V8 engine for the “ultimate analogue driving experience.”

Previous reports have suggested the model could have a GM-sourced supercharged 6.2-liter V8. That remains to be seen, but the mill produces 685 hp (511 kW / 695 PS) and 673 lb-ft (911 Nm) of torque in the CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series .

Excel continues to grow as a popular esport

The Microsoft Excel World Championship’s (MEWC) inaugural Landmark Battle took place on the weekend of July 11th, 2026

Four competitors went to cell-to-cell, but there was only one winner

The Microsoft Excel World Championship’s (MEWC) inaugural Landmark Battle has declared its first winner, Ireland’s Diarmuid Early, who previously won the Excel World Championship in December 2025.

The MEWC’s Landmark Battle featured four competitors, with Early joined by Andrew Ngai, Jaq Kennedy, and Nicolas Micot. Lasting a mere 30 minutes, the game wasn’t simply a “landmark event” – it took place at four physical landmarks.

Co-sponsored by ASUS, the competitors were forced to compete outdoors in New York, London, Paris, and Australia, all typing and CTRL-Ving furiously on ExpertBook Ultras with handy wireless portable external displays. The Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, the Eiffel Tower, and Sydney Harbour provided the literal landmarks for the event.

Get up Early to win

The MEWC is not a new event, first being held in 2021, with the 2022 broadcast on ESPN .

The competition pits Excel experts against each other to solve complex challenges posed by other Excel experts, not doubt with a few Microsoft Certified Professional qualifications buried among their other achievements in the world of business data management.

These aren’t boring, C-suite outcomes, however. On this occasion, the competitors took the Around The World in 80 Days-inspired Excel challenge, the latest in an inventive selection. This was conceived to reflect remote workers, whose endeavors are “across client sites, airports, cafés, co-working spaces, and remote locations, instead of behind a desk in an office.”

Andrew Grigolyunovich is the founder of the Microsoft Excel World Championship. "The Landmark Battle was unlike anything we've done before," he said. "Watching elite competitors perform from some of the world's most iconic landmarks, powered by ASUS, showed just how far Excel Esports can go."

Previous events have seen competitors tasked with completing jigsaw puzzles using Excel, slot machine games, and the 2D Excel-based platformer, Modelario.

Early’s win – which ironically enough, was late in the game – gave him a last-minute 40-point lead over Andrew Ngai, but due to the worldwide nature of the game, no one knew who had won until the game was over.

As you can see in the YouTube video, each competitor was accompanied by just a cameraman, and you can see the reactions as the results are confirmed.

Esport, or Excel-sport?

Esports have become big business in recent years, but events tend to circle around games such as League of Legends, Dota, or CS:GO.

As esport events go, Microsoft Excel is not the obvious spectator sport. But if you have the skills to make magic with formulae and numbers arranged in rows and columns, they might be a dead cert for next year’s Microsoft Excel World Championship.

The qualifiers for the 2026 world championship have already commenced, with the event again taking place in Las Vegas – and Early appears to be a dead cert to triumph again.

The Republic of Serbia signed the Artemis Accords Thursday during a ceremony hosted by NASA at the agency’s Headquarters in Washington, becoming the 69th nation to join a large community of like-minded nations committed to the peaceful, transparent, and responsible exploration of space.

“Serbia’s connection to NASA reaches back to the Apollo program, when the work of Serbian engineers helped make some of humanity’s greatest achievements in space possible,” said NASA Deputy Administrator Matt Anderson. “Among them was Milojko ‘Mike’ Vučelić, who was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for the critical role he played in bringing the Apollo 13 crew safely home. Their story stands as a reminder that the greatest achievements in space are made possible by talented people working together.”

The broader team of Serbian American engineers played key roles during the Apollo era across systems engineering, propulsion, power systems, spacecraft docking, electronics reliability, and mission coordination. Their expertise supported critical functions ranging from lunar landing analysis to safe spacecraft docking.

Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić signed the Artemis Accords on behalf of the country.

“The great beyond has always inspired humanity to achieve its greatest feats — from the Roman ‘per aspera ad astra’ to Norman Vincent Peale’s belief that if we aim for the Moon, we will at least land among the stars,” said Đurić. “Those words feel especially fitting today. We come from a nation of great minds like Nikola Tesla and Milutin Milanković, but also from the legacy of David Vujic, one of the pioneers of the Apollo missions and a member of the ‘Serbian Seven,’ a group of engineers and technicians whose contributions to NASA helped make the Moon landing possible. In that spirit, we owe it to both our brave ancestors and our children to keep pushing toward new frontiers — to explore, to inspire one another, and to dare even greater things.”

By signing the Artemis Accords, nations open the door to opportunities for future lunar exploration with NASA, such as providing science and technology payloads for the U.S.-led Moon Base and CubeSats for upcoming Artemis missions, advancing humanity’s return to the Moon, and shaping the Golden Age of space exploration and innovation.

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States Dragan Šutanovac; State Secretary for Serbia’s Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Marija Gnjatović; and U.S. Department of State Assistant Secretary for Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs Wesley Brooks all participated in Serbia’s signing ceremony.

In 2020, NASA and the Department of State joined with seven other founding nations to establish the Artemis Accords, responding to the growing interest in lunar activities by both governments and private companies. They introduced the first set of practical principles aimed at enhancing the safety and coordination between nations as they explore the Moon, Mars, and beyond, committing nations to:

explore peaceably and transparently

render aid to those in need

enable access to scientific data

ensure activities do not interfere with those of others

preserve historically significant sites and artifacts by developing best practices

Five years later, President Donald J. Trump’s National Space Policy directed NASA to establish a sustained lunar outpost. With this Moon Base , NASA is putting the principles of the Artemis Accords into practice, inviting every signatory to take part in the endeavor.

More countries are expected to sign the Artemis Accords in the months and years ahead, as NASA continues its work to establish a safe, peaceful, and prosperous future in space.

Crypto.com Secures $400M Investment From Citadel Securities at $20B Valuation

Global market maker Citadel Securities has invested $400 million in crypto exchange Crypto.com, giving the platform a $20 billion valuation, according to a Thursday announcement.

Crypto.com, which has a number of digital asset products, said the cash would help the Singapore-based company expand its services to assets such as blockchain-based securities and derivatives.

The cash will help bridge the gap “between digital asset and traditional markets to create a more efficient 24/7 financial ecosystem,” a Thursday announcement read.

“The size of the opportunity in front of us is staggering, as crypto increasingly becomes the rails for finance,” Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek said in a statement.

“Having built the right regulatory and tech infrastructure over the last decade, Crypto.com is now perfectly positioned to capture this new wave of growth across all asset classes.”

“The convergence of traditional financial markets and digital asset infrastructure is an exciting evolution with the potential to further improve market efficiency,” added Jim Esposito, President of Citadel Securities.

Wall Street’s interest in tokenization

Esposito’s comment comes as Wall Street interest in blockchain technology piques — despite a market slump.

Back in February, BlackRock, the world’s biggest asset manager, announced that it was working with decentralised exchange Uniswap to bring one of its funds on-chain.

Before that, in January, the New York Stock Exchange said it was building a platform allowing traders to buy and sell tokenised versions of US-listed equities and exchange-traded funds.

And most recently, the S&P 500 gave crypto platform Trade[XYZ] the green light to debut a new derivative contract on decentralized exchange Hyperliquid, allowing traders to gain leveraged exposure to the top index.

Citadel’s crypto interest

Miami, Florida-based Citadel, has for some time been interested in digital assets: Back in 2023, the company helped debut EDX Markets, a “first-of-its-kind exchange” giving investors “safer, faster and more efficient cryptocurrency trading.”

The exchange this year applied for a national trust bank charter with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, marking a step toward deeper integration between digital asset firms and the US banking system.

Citadel last year also pumped $200 million into crypto exchange Kraken to help accelerate the company’s strategy of bringing traditional financial products on-chain.
