Ministry inspects Southern Hospital mortuary after body-selling scandal
The Mazovian Provincial Office, acting on orders from the Ministry of Health, has launched an inspection of the mortuary at Warsaw's Southern Hospital. The probe follows an Onet investigation revealing that mortuary manager Artur Habowski offered commercial services to families of deceased patients and allegedly "sold" bodies to friendly funeral parlours while employed by the hospital.
