Court issued arrest warrant for Szmydt but not Ziobro — here's why

A Warsaw court declined to issue a European Arrest Warrant for Zbigniew Ziobro because he is in the United States, outside EU jurisdiction. In contrast, the court previously issued such a warrant for Tomasz Szmydt, a Polish judge who fled to Belarus, as Belarus falls within reach of the EAW framework in a different legal context.
