Łukasz Żak gets 20 years for driving at 220 km/h drunk and killing a father of two in Warsaw

Łukasz Żak has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for a 2024 crash on Warsaw's Trasa Łazienkowska. He was driving drunk at over 220 km/h, struck a car carrying a family of four, and fled the scene. A 37-year-old man died in the crash; the victim's wife and two children were seriously injured. The verdict is not yet final.
