Over 270 Stung by Jellyfish on German Baltic Island Fehmarn
More than 270 people were stung by compass jellyfish off the German Baltic island of Fehmarn. Most victims suffered mild skin burning. Rescuers used shaving foam to soothe the affected areas. The jellyfish appeared unusually early in the season due to high water temperatures and favourable wind direction.
