U.S. sanctions Iran central bank crypto wallets; Tether freezes $131 million

The United States added four cryptocurrency wallets linked to Iran's central bank to its sanctions list. Tether swiftly froze $131 million held in TRON-based addresses that collectively held over $165 million. The frozen funds cannot be transferred or redeemed until sanctions are lifted.
