Katowice surgeons perform brain bypass surgery on 15-year-old stroke patient

Neurosurgeons in Katowice performed a cerebral revascularisation procedure on a 15-year-old girl who had suffered a stroke. The operation aimed at restoring proper blood flow to the brain. Such procedures are among the most complex in neurosurgery and are rarely carried out on patients so young.
