Serhiy Koretsky elected Ukraine's new Prime Minister with 289 votes
Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada has appointed Serhiy Koretsky as the country's new Prime Minister. Koretsky previously served as CEO of Naftohaz, Ukraine's state-owned oil and gas company comparable to Poland's Orlen. His candidacy was put forward by President Volodymyr Zelensky and backed by 289 of 450 MPs.
