Kaczyński bans PiS politicians from forming associations — party subsidy at stake
Jarosław Kaczyński has given PiS politicians an ultimatum: accept full party control over their activities or face a split. The ban on forming independent associations is not just about unity — it also protects the party's state subsidy, as political activity conducted outside official party reporting can trigger its withdrawal by the State Electoral Commission (PKW), according to lawyer Krzysztof Izdebski. The associations thus pose a genuine financial threat to PiS.
