Polish finance minister: Audits found 120 billion PLN in irregular public spending

Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domański announced on Thursday that ministerial audits uncovered irregularities in public spending worth 120 billion PLN between 2020 and 2023. A total of 177 audits were launched, with 135 already completed. The findings represent one of the largest documented cases of financial irregularities in Polish public finance history.
