TSMC pledges additional $100bn for US expansion, total commitment hits $265bn

Taiwan's chip giant TSMC has announced an additional $100 billion investment to expand its US manufacturing operations. The new pledge brings the company's total US commitment to $265 billion. TSMC stated the expansion will create "high-tech, high-paying jobs" across the country.
