Over 130 Wildfires in One Day in Algeria as Heat and Drought Devastate Farms

Wildfires are sweeping Algeria, driven by extreme heat and prolonged drought, with authorities recording more than 130 fires on 15 July alone. At least one person has been killed and the damage has been especially severe for farmers and livestock owners.
