Polish Supreme Court: Husband not liable for business losses caused by wife's infidelity
Poland's Supreme Court ruled that a husband who neglected a jointly run seasonal business due to his wife's infidelity is not required to compensate her for the resulting financial losses during the division of assets after divorce. The court found that the cause of the income decline lay with the wife's adultery, not the husband's conduct. The ruling could set a precedent for similar divorce cases in the future.
