Expert: Electric Scooters Effectively Outside the Law — No Registration or Insurance Required

Dorota Olszewska, president of the Road Safety Partnership association, warned on TVN24 that electric scooters and their riders are not required to be registered or insured in Poland. As a result, police cannot check whether a rider has committed previous offences of the same type. She concluded that electric scooters are effectively absent from the road safety system.
