Storms and heatwave alerts across Poland on Thursday afternoon

Severe thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are forecast for southern Poland on Thursday afternoon, with the strongest downpours expected in elevated terrain. Central and western parts of the country will face a heatwave simultaneously. Poland's meteorological institute IMGW will activate weather warnings in the second half of the day.
