Poland's first fine of PLN 26,000 for surveillance cameras covering neighbours' property
Poland's Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) has imposed a fine of over PLN 26,000 on a person who refused to remove surveillance cameras covering a public road and neighbouring properties despite an official order. This is the first such sanction in Poland for defying a UODO ruling on private CCTV. The case is expected to set a precedent for future neighbourhood privacy disputes.
