Ex-NFZ chief Sośnierz: Medical procedure pricing in Poland is total chaos

Andrzej Sośnierz, former MP and head of the National Health Fund (NFZ), commented on reports of some doctors earning up to 240 złoty per hour, calling the pricing of medical procedures in Poland "total chaos." He argues that as long as large sums of easy money circulate in the system for specific procedures, someone will always exploit it. Sośnierz says the root problem lies in the structural design of healthcare financing.
