New Alvin and the Chipmunks film coming in 2028 – first look at redesigned Alvin

Studio Big Shot Pictures, which acquired a 25% stake in the Alvin and the Chipmunks brand, has announced a new feature-length animated film for 2028, coinciding with the franchise's 70th anniversary. The studio shared a first look at a redesigned Alvin on social media. Almost no other details about the production are known. The original chipmunk characters were created by Ross Bagdasarian in 1958.
