Pellet prices rising in Poland — government seeks new suppliers and backs agropellet

After Belarus cut pellet supplies to Poland, the government is seeking new import sources and promoting domestic agropellet production. A meeting between authorities and the Polish Pellet Council at the Ministry of Energy addressed the rising cost of home heating. Climate Minister Paulina Hennig-Kloska said that a milder winter could help normalise the market, but gave no firm price forecast.
