NASA tests SLS rocket and Orion capsule ahead of 2027 Artemis III mission

NASA is accelerating preparations for the Artemis III mission, currently planned for the second half of 2027. Assembly of the Space Launch System rocket is underway at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, alongside regular launch procedure simulations for the four-person Orion crew. Artemis III is intended to return humans to the Moon's surface.
