Thunderstorms and heatwave hit Poland simultaneously — level 1 and 2 warnings issued

From 13:00, level 1 and level 2 weather warnings are in force across a wide band of Poland stretching from the west through the centre to the south-east. The dual threat consists of thunderstorms with heavy rain and hail, as well as intense heat. The morning will remain calm, but dangerous conditions are expected to develop during the afternoon.
