Deputy prosecutor general Ostrowski investigated for hiding documents from NIK auditors
Poland's internal affairs division of the prosecution service is investigating Michał Ostrowski, deputy to Prosecutor General Waldemar Żurek. He is suspected of concealing documents from NIK (Supreme Audit Office) inspectors during a review of the purchase of the Hermes surveillance system. The case centres on invoices related to maintaining Hermes, a tool enabling broad monitoring of internet activity, according to TVN24.
