Volunteers at Copernicus Science Centre clean 240-million-year-old amphibian skeleton

More than 2,000 volunteers at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw are helping to clean the skeleton of a prehistoric amphibian that lived approximately 240 million years ago, predating the dinosaurs. The work involves removing sediment from the creature's bones. The project is a rare example of large-scale public participation in palaeontological research.
