Final Fantasy Resonance shows off HD-2D visuals in new trailer ahead of October launch

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy Resonance, a brand-new HD-2D turn-based RPG coming to Nintendo Switch 1 and Switch 2 in October 2026. The game was first announced in June and the new footage highlights the series' signature HD-2D visual style. It is the latest entry in Square Enix's growing catalogue of HD-2D titles.
