IMGW issues double alerts — storms in south, heatwave inland Poland

Poland's IMGW weather institute has issued dual alerts — warnings for violent storms mainly in southern Poland and for a heatwave further inland. It is the first time this month that above-average heat is forecast for central Poland, though temperatures are not expected to set records. Further alerts may follow, the institute says.
