Hal Williams, star of '227' and 'Sanford and Son', dies aged 91

Hal Williams, the veteran American TV actor best known for his roles in the sitcoms "227" (1985–1990) and "Sanford and Son," has died at the age of 91, confirmed by his manager. In "227," he played Lester Jenkins, one of a group of middle-aged tenants living in an apartment building.
