Ukrainian strikes on Azov Sea shipping push wheat prices to 17-month high

Wheat on the Paris MATIF exchange climbed 14% in July to its highest price since February 2024. Ukrainian attacks have paralysed Russian shipping on the Sea of Azov, drastically curtailing grain supply from Russia's main export region. The figures come from PKO BP's analysis bureau.
