Ukrainian attacks on Azov Sea shipping push wheat prices up 14%

Wheat prices on the Paris MATIF exchange surged 14% in July, hitting the highest level since February 2024. The main driver is Ukrainian strikes paralysing Russian shipping on the Sea of Azov, sharply cutting grain supply from Russia's key export region. The data was reported by PKO BP's analysis bureau.
