Carey Mulligan and Billie Eilish join adaptation of Sylvia Plath's "The Bell Jar"

Carey Mulligan has joined the cast of a film adaptation of Sylvia Plath's "The Bell Jar", reportedly playing Mrs Greenwood, mother of protagonist Esther. The role comes shortly after Mulligan received an Emmy nomination for the second season of "Ripley". Singer Billie Eilish is also set to make her screen debut in the project, which has yet to be officially announced.
