Sikorski's Foreign Ministry gave nearly 2 million PLN to an association that didn't meet grant rules

Poland's Foreign Ministry launched the "Polonia and Poles Abroad 2026" grant competition on April 7. On the same day, a 23-year-old from Lublin renamed his association and added a clause about supporting Polish diaspora activities to its statutes. Despite not meeting the competition's requirements, the organisation received nearly 2 million PLN — and no one checked whether it was eligible.
