Spain and Gibraltar scrap border checks after landmark Brussels deal

A landmark agreement signed in Brussels has eliminated border controls between Spain and Gibraltar, with the last section of the border fence removed. Despite voting against Brexit, Gibraltar as a British territory had been subject to post-Brexit rules. Residents on both sides of the border welcomed the change with relief, as the Rock of Gibraltar moves closer to the EU once again.
